Pam Kravetz
Pam Kravetz creates intricate and colorful narrative quilts expressing her feelings regarding everything from her relationships with family and friends, to her love life, to her obsession with lipstick. Kravetz is an “artist” in every sense of the word, but unlike many other artists, her works are neither dark, nor labored, nor angst-ridden. Rather, they are witty, intensely personal, and riotously funny. Like Pam’s stories and experiences, her quilts are outrageous, multi-layered, and highly detailed. Through her work, Kravetz seeks to examine and convey the beautifully chaotic nature of everyday life.
Pam Kravetz received her masters in art education from Miami University and is currently a teacher in the Southwest Local School District. She is also involved with educational programs at the Contemporary Arts Center, the Cincinnati Art Museum, and ArtWorks.
